Ingredients
  

Stir Fry
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 cups green beans trimmed
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
Sesame Sauce
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions sliced

Equipment

  • Large skillet or wok
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Whisk soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water in a bowl.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook chicken pieces until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining oil and stir fry green beans for 4–5 minutes.
  5. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Return chicken to the pan.
  7. Pour sauce into the skillet and stir until thickened.
  8. Cook for 2–3 minutes until everything is coated.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions over the stir fry.
  10. Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra vegetables add bell peppers, broccoli, or snap peas.
