Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2.25 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 cup warm water
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.25 cup warm milk
Topping
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Rolling pin
  • Skillet or pan
  • Pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast and let sit until foamy.
  2. Mix flour and salt, then add yogurt, oil, milk, and yeast mixture to form dough.
  3. Knead dough until smooth and let rise until doubled.
  4. Divide dough, roll into flat rounds.
  5. Cook in a hot skillet until bubbly and golden, then flip.
  6. Brush with melted butter and serve warm.

Notes

Cook naan on very high heat for best bubbles and texture. Brush with butter immediately after cooking.
