Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, sugar, butter, and salt and press into the pan.
- Bake crust for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden.
- Whisk corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Stir in pecans and pour filling over hot crust.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until set.
- Cool completely, then cut into bars.
Notes
For best results, toast pecans before adding to the filling and cool completely before slicing.
