  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter browned
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Brown the butter in a saucepan until golden and nutty.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
  3. Mix butter with sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.

  5. Fold in toffee bits and chocolate chips.
  6. Chill dough for 30–60 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes.
