Ingredients
  

Mochi Batter
  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Dusting
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking dish.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Mix wet ingredients and combine with dry.
  4. Pour into pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
  5. Cool, cut, and dust with cornstarch.

Notes

Do not overbake to keep mochi soft and chewy. Dust with starch to prevent sticking.
