Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parmesan, milk, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into small meatballs and place on baking sheet.
- Bake meatballs for 15–18 minutes until cooked through.
- Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan and add cooked meatballs.
- Slice sub rolls and place in a baking dish.
- Fill rolls with meatballs and sauce, then top with mozzarella.
- Brush tops with garlic butter and bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use store-bought meatballs for a quicker version. Toasting prevents soggy bread.
