Ingredients
  

Pork Chops
  • 4 pork chops 1-inch thick
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Garlic Butter
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp thyme optional

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat oil and sear pork chops 4–5 minutes per side.
  3. Add butter and garlic, then baste chops.
  4. Cook until internal temp reaches 145°F.
  5. Rest and serve with garlic butter.

Notes

Use a cast iron skillet for best sear.
