Ingredients
  

Mango Sago
  • 0.5 cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups water for cooking
  • 2 cups ripe mango, diced
  • 0.75 cup coconut milk
  • 0.25 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar optional
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Cook sago pearls in boiling water until translucent.
  2. Let sit covered, then rinse under cold water.
  3. Blend half the mango into purée.
  4. Mix coconut milk, condensed milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Combine sago, mango purée, and diced mango.
  6. Chill and serve cold.

Notes

Use ripe mango for best flavor and sweetness.
