Ingredients
  

Cake
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
Buttercream
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Beat butter and sugar, then add egg whites and vanilla.
  4. Add dry ingredients and milk.
  5. Color batter and bake.
  6. Cut cake circles and layer with frosting.
  7. Frost and decorate cakes.
