Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups elbow pasta uncooked
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth low sodium
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook ground beef until browned.
  3. Add diced onion and cook until softened, then add garlic.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and spices.
  5. Add broth, milk, and pasta and bring to a simmer.
  6. Cover and cook until pasta is tender, about 10–12 minutes.
  7. Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
