Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- Pat halibut fillets dry and place them in the baking dish.
- Drizzle olive oil over the fish and season with salt and pepper.
- Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- In another bowl combine parmesan, breadcrumbs, paprika, and parsley.
- Brush garlic butter over the fish.
- Press parmesan breadcrumb mixture on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until fish flakes easily.
- Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes to crisp the topping.
- Serve with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
Notes
Use fresh halibut for best flavor and avoid overcooking for tender flaky fish.
