Ingredients
  

Lemonade Base
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 4–6 lemons
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 0.25 cup fresh mint leaves
For Serving
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4 slices lemon slices for garnish
  • 4 strawberries for garnish
  • 4 sprigs mint for garnish

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Pitcher
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Citrus juicer

Method
 

  1. Blend strawberries with a small amount of water until smooth.
  2. Strain the puree into a pitcher if a smoother texture is desired.
  3. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher.
  4. Stir in sugar until completely dissolved.
  5. Add fresh mint leaves and lightly crush them to release flavor.
  6. Pour in cold water and mix well.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
  8. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices, strawberries, and mint sprigs.

Notes

Adjust sweetness depending on the ripeness of strawberries. Sparkling water can be added for a fizzy version.
