Ingredients
  

Noodle Stir Fry
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 lb beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 red chili sliced
  • 2 cups Thai basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili paste
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Wok or large skillet
  • Cutting board
  • Tongs or chopsticks

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and onion and cook until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced beef and stir fry until browned.
  5. Stir in vegetables and chili pepper.
  6. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, chili paste, and broth.
  7. Pour sauce into pan and mix well.
  8. Add noodles and toss until evenly coated.
  9. Turn off heat and mix in basil and lime juice.
  10. Serve immediately with lime wedges.

Notes

Use high heat and fresh Thai basil for authentic flavor.
