Method
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover and let rest 12–18 hours at room temperature.
- Shape dough gently and let rest another 30–60 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with pot inside.
- Bake covered 30 minutes, then uncovered 10–15 minutes.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
For best results, allow full fermentation time and use a preheated Dutch oven.
