Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp instant yeast
  • 1.5 cups warm water

  • Dutch oven or baking pot
  • Wire rack

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover and let rest 12–18 hours at room temperature.
  4. Shape dough gently and let rest another 30–60 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with pot inside.
  6. Bake covered 30 minutes, then uncovered 10–15 minutes.
  7. Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, allow full fermentation time and use a preheated Dutch oven.
